We will be working with the Phases for September-October, 2021; for an overview of the meditations, follow this link. These meditations can be repeated each month with a new focus each time. Each of these meditations can be done in your own time, but the rhythm of the meditations follows the phases of the Moon so it’s best to keep pace with the days at least, even if the precise moment of the Moon Phase is not convenient. Read through the written meditation and then allow the visualization to unfold for you as you are in a quiet and focused place. Let it take you as deep as you want/ need to go. These words are only the beginning.
WAXING CRESCENT MOON (Second of the Series)
Leave your daily life behind and find your way to your inner garden. Notice the scents that emanate around you. Use your senses so that even in the dark of the early morning you can “see” the flowers and leaves and the forms that they take. Breathe in their gift and return your breath to them with your appreciation. Holding the seeds that you were given in your cupped hands, take a minute to set your intention for them, and plant them in the ground at your feet. Feel the soft coolness of the soil and how it becomes receptive as you carefully make space for the seeds. Cover them gently and take just a moment to offer them the blessing that is in your heart.
As you stand up after having planted the seeds, look to the East and see that the sun is rising. The East is the direction of new beginnings and as the sun comes up over the horizon, you feel a stirring in your heart: it is the essence of Spring, the time of innocence and illumination.
Feel the warmth of the sun on your face; be aware of the element of fire, the principle of transmutation and expansion. As you hear your inner voice and the voices of your Guides, allow the fire to connect you to them. Honor yourself and those who travel with you in your journey.
